Competitive Teams 2026 ~ 2027 Burnaby - Year Long Program
We are excited to launch our very first Competitive Program this Fall!
Designed for dancers who are passionate about dance and ready to challenge themselves, this program offers additional training, performance opportunities, and the chance to grow in a supportive team environment.
Throughout the season, dancers will also have opportunities to learn from guest teachers as well.
While we will be dancing to K-pop music, please note that the choreography for competitions will be created by Yun, as original K-pop choreographies are not permitted in dance competitions.
Throughout the season, Team B will work on one (or two, depending on time availability) K-pop cover dance(s) in addition to a hip hop competition routine.
This will allow dancers to continue training and performing in both K-pop and hip hop styles throughout the season.
Teams will participate in 2–3 local competitions throughout the season.
Please Note:

Due to potential conflicts of interest, dancers who are already participating in a Hip Hop Competitive Team at another studio will not be able to join this program

Dancers will perform at both of our showcases: Nov 29th Sun 2026 & May16th Sun 2027

Competition fees and costume costs will be added separately in January/February

Competitions may take place during school hours in April/May
As this program requires a greater level of commitment, financial investment, and parent support, we encourage families to discuss the commitment with their dancer before registering.
Team A - Competitive Hip Hop (Ages 11 ~ 13) - Tuition Fee: $1250
Session Dates: Sept 8th ~ Dec 9th Tue AND Jan 5th ~ June 9th Tue

Monthly payment of $125 from Sept 2026 ~ June 2027
Team C - Competitive Hip Hop (Ages 10 ~ 12) - Tuition Fee: $1150

Monthly payment of $115 from Sept 2026 ~ June 2027
Team B - Competitive Kpop + Hip Hop (Ages 13 ~ 17) INVITE ONLY/AUDITION REQUIRED
Dancers will work on two routines throughout the season — a K-pop performance piece for showcases and a hip hop routine for competitions. Dancers will perform one routine at the November 2026 Showcase and two routines at the May 2027 Showcase
